February is just blossoming out all over!
We have camellias in the foreground and Japanese Magnolia in the background.

  2. Oh, Janet! It is glorious! Sometimes the perfection of camellia blooms can move me to tears. They are just so lovely and they come at a time when I am so desperate to see color and life in the garden again! I love this shot just bursting with it. It is like a Valentine from God.

  3. For the record, this is the earliest spring that I can remember, at least since starting photo blogging almost 5 years ago! The Japanese Magnolia don't usually bloom until at least late Feb. or early March.
    Thanks for your comments!

  8. We usually have a lot of these this time of the year here in Mexico, but it has been brutally cold and cloudy this year, and what there is is not as magnificent as yours demonstrated here in your photo.
