Fresh-Cut Hay


Unless you have hay fever, nothing smells much sweeter than fresh-cut hay.

It's hay cutting time in Central Alabama, and this week should be a lot drier than last, so maybe the new hay won't get wet!

    Allergies or not, one should not be deprived of that great smell!

    Jim, It WAS hot AND humid. It's still warm but a lot drier this week.

    fortunately I am not bothered by allergies too much and love the scent of fresh cut hay.

    When are you going to post a snap of your bottle tree? I would love to see it. We need a better base for ours. the large limb we were using deterioriated after a couple of years.
