River and Roses

There are still a few pink roses blooming along the trellis and iron fence behind the St. James Hotel. While these are a hardy variety, I wonder how they will fare in temperatures in the teens. We'll soon find out!

The wrought iron, blue sky and flowers remind me of Mexico. Perhaps I should not have stayed home this year! I now yearn for warmer weather!

Yes Kate, usually I am commenting on your gorgeous Mexico photos this time of year! Try to enjoy all that snow! We may get a dusting here tomorrow. If not, it will be a cold, cold rain.

I am thinking those pretty blooms will soon be gone. I am tired of this cold snap. Bring on the global warming!

I don't think they can last much longer. Very pretty.

A pleasant, exotic view definitely... excuse me while I take off my parka!!:)

It shouldn't hurt them in the long run. It would have to be down there for several days before it would damage the plant if it is a hardy rose.
