Just a Bit Chilly!

I think you can tell that it's just a bit chilly in Selma this week!

  1. If this fountain were in Minnesota, and if someone had neglected to turn off the water, it would be a cascade of frozen water! Lucky you, despite your comment about the cold, to still have the water flowing!!

  2. Kate, by Friday or Saturday morning, this may be completely frozen too. That polar express is pushing through today. Yes, I'm very lucky they leave the fountain running!

  4. I will send over some of the snow from Haninge, that should freeze the water!

  13. Great catch! It is SO COLD here too. I keep telling folks, we southerners are just not built for this kind of cold.

  14. Hi D. I know I'm not made for a 12-degree, below-zero windchill night! Such cold is so rare that we have to think before going out in it. I'm not used to having to let my car warm up, carry extra coats or wear longjohns!

  16. Z, many thanks for the WARM wishes! We cope fairly well during a short cold snap, but this one is lingering on and on and on! 50 degrees next week will seem like spring.
