If this fountain were in Minnesota, and if someone had neglected to turn off the water, it would be a cascade of frozen water! Lucky you, despite your comment about the cold, to still have the water flowing!!
Kate, by Friday or Saturday morning, this may be completely frozen too. That polar express is pushing through today. Yes, I'm very lucky they leave the fountain running!
Hi D. I know I'm not made for a 12-degree, below-zero windchill night! Such cold is so rare that we have to think before going out in it. I'm not used to having to let my car warm up, carry extra coats or wear longjohns!
Z, many thanks for the WARM wishes! We cope fairly well during a short cold snap, but this one is lingering on and on and on! 50 degrees next week will seem like spring.

Neat shot, my goal is to find something like that around here.
A beautiful spray of water - lovely photo.
Cheers.

I will send over some of the snow from Haninge, that should freeze the water!
Makes for an interesting picture though!
Ditto here! We have a few frozen fountains too.
Great photo...especially enlarged...would be frozen in OH also
What "Global Warming"?
;-)
«Louis», by the way, thanks you for your visit to San Francisco Bay Daily Photo - and hopes you thaw out soon!
Fantastic photo! Must have been amazing to see in person.
Yes, I would say that qualifies as cold. Stay warm and dry : )
That's quite something! Nice!!!
Wow! That looks c-c-c-old! I love this photo!
Fantastic, gorgeous image! I love fountains.
Great catch! It is SO COLD here too. I keep telling folks, we southerners are just not built for this kind of cold.

Yes, just a little bit cold. How are you all coping with it over there? Warm wishes from Villigen!
