It's that time of year again when garden spiders are weaving webs and catching prey. This spider is securing a beetle. We counted six such spiders and webs in our hydrangea bush. More critters are just a click away!
ohh god they are in your garden??....and you have more than six...thanks god they are not dangerous, well yes for the pets as you say..keep them away!! Thanks for the interesting info! IM STILL IN SHOCK!! (dont like spiders bbrrr )
I see many other commentors share my shivers at such a marco of a spider! But what about that weird chain of Z's?? I have never seen such a thing in a web, and believe me, we have tons of spiders where I live (more shudders). It's like her spinnerets went into sudden overdrive! Or maybe she repaired a tear with a sewing maching instead?? Well, really neat whatever it is!
Awesome shot!!
