Tea Time

Since Selma is known for History and Hospitality, and since I usually just post its history, today I am being hospitable and offering tea and cake! I am no Paula Deen (Bless her heart!), but I made a cake with tinted, seven-minute frosting and put colorful sprinkles on top. It is delicious with some sweet iced tea and is best when shared with friends and bloggers from around the world...Enjoy!

  1. Looks very inviting - I'll take a tall glass of tea and a big slice of cake, please! Thanks very much! ;-)

  3. Looks great, can I have just a small slice? The diet you know.

  4. You don't know what you are doing to me! My husband is diabetic and my daughter doesn't eat many sweets at all and I told her last night I would kill for something baked fresh from our oven!

  7. Now that looks good I don't care who you are. Some folks from LA (lower Alabama) took a rare trip outside the Sweet Tea belt and ended up at a restaurant for lunch. The waitress asked the first one what he would like to drink and he said "Swait tea". She replied, "We don't serve sweet tea here and moved around to the next one and repeated the question. She got the same answer "Swait tea." Bless their hearts, it's all they know. :)
