"CELEBRATING SUMMER" is the City Daily Photo Blogs theme for July,
and I just could not find anything more fitting than
my grandson as he kicked up his heels in the grass!
I've already posted it on my personal Facebook page.
Now I'm sharing it with my Selma photo blog.
Happy Summer, y'all!

Oh, this is such a sweet photo!
He's adorable!
Hes cute, looks like this summer will be a summer of firsts for him too.
Celebrating a healthy, happy baby, esp a grandson is a perfect way to enjoy a summer day!
such a cutie
how precious!
What a wonderful shot! And the red, white, and blue is perfect. It wasn't that long ago that my grandson looked a lot like this (he's five now).
I love your way of thinking. What a sweet shot!!
Happy summer -- he's adorable!
No one knows how to celebrate more than little kids!
Adorable!
Excellent choice for the theme day, one of the best, love it!
The best summer celebration of all!
What a perfect summer photo!!! My daughter was married last year, and photos like this from her childhood were strung around the reception venue. They were a big hit. Make sure your grandson gets either a print or a digital file when he is old enough.
Thank you all for your kind comments! We tried posing him, but of course, at 12 months, he did as he pleased, and he knew how to pose himself the best!
Those little overalls are adorable! My son used to have some just like that. He's now 6'2", so they wouldn't be as cute anymore!
Great photo with the checkered red in the background!
Fairhope Supply Co., these little overalls were worn by MY son over a quarter century ago! So now his son is wearing them! How 'bout that! :)
Happy summer!
A very good choice of todays theme day image!:)
It's so great and moving photo! The freshly green trees and sun rays in the distance makes a perfect June feeling, but the kid brings a memories of childhood and it's carelessness! Wonderful atmosphere there!
Very cute indeed!
So sweet, the joy of summer perfectly illustrated!
