An Old Millstone

An old millstone serves as an outdoor "sculpture" at Kenan's Mill near Selma.
The mill was built in the 1860s and is opened a few times a year for public tours.

Don't you love it when a simple and utilitarian object serves so well as "art?". Nice.

Wow! That is surprisingly pretty and has interesting texture. It really illustrates what Jesus was saying when he said that it would be better for someone to have a millstone tied around his neck and be thrown into the sea rather than to cause little ones to stumble!
