The first daffodils opened in my backyard on Monday, and we saw
the first robin! Surely, despite this latest round of southern snow,
sleet and freezing rain, spring cannot be far away!
Last year, the daffodils debuted in late January,
but it was a much warmer winter.

How beautiful! Ours will be sleeping for a while yet.
ReplyDeleteWe won't see ours for awhile, Janet, but that's lovely!
ReplyDeleteMine are still only small green nubs waiting for the weather to warm. I'm glad they didn't get too far along, because last week we had a nasty freeze. - Margy
