It's a no go for pedestrians and traffic at the Valley Creek Bridge
on West Dallas Avenue. They have been fenced and blocked out!
Crews are tearing out the old bridge to replace it with a new one,
and traffic along the busy thoroughfare to downtown has been rerouted
for most of the next year.
Follow this blog for the progress and a picture of the new bridge next summer!

ReplyDeleteWhen I see roadwork going on, I try not to fuss about the detour, but be thankful that people have jobs. All those workers and their families have a better life because of the paycheck coming in.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week-end!
