The Spires of First Baptist

The Gothic spires and gargoyles of First Baptist Church - Lauderdale Street

    Such an old, old church--or so it seems. The architect pulled out all the stops with his ornamentation of the gable points, didn't he?

    I have a thing for gargoyles. You don't see them on churches too often.
