Selma's movie theater is in the performing arts center, which used to be a movie theater back in the day. The building was renovated in the 1980s, so it is nothing like a chain theatre complex. Has a great hometown feel!
I not been inside a movie theater in nearly three years now, I become spoil and lazy and now watch movies at home.
This must be a small movie theater with a cute little display, here in southern California we have oversize theaters like most big cities do these days.
i want to see oz!
ReplyDeletei'm curious as to what movie (picture) you went to see? ( :

ReplyDeleteI wish that I had obtained some movie posters back 40-50 years ago -- they might be quite valuable today.
ReplyDeleteMovie candy and popcorn is soooo expensive. Why is that?
I love the movies too! And, that popcorn. Nice shot and happy reminder of days gone by.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cheerful display! 42 comes out this week, and it was shot right here in Chattanooga so I might head out to the movies soon.
ReplyDeleteNice display! Obviously someone takes pride in the movie theatre.
ReplyDeleteWatching movies in a big screen once in a while is fun.
