So much nostalgia. I think we've lost a lot with the coming of the Big Box stores and chain stores everywhere. I'll bet there isn't a corner in this country where you won't find a McDonald's or a Walmart!

ReplyDeleteI still prefer small, privately owned businesses and buy from them whenever possible. Miss bookstores especially.
