Work at the Old Warehouse

We're blogging the letter "F" this week over at ABC Wednesday,
and the FUTURE of this old warehouse came to mind.

Work progresses on the building, and someday in the FUTURE,
it will be part of the Riverfront Park Amphitheatre scheduled
 for completion by early 2014.

Meanwhile, I'm not sure about the FUTURE of this FACADE since it seems
clearly marked for "No Patching, Future Demo." Does that mean
the wall is marked for demolition? Time will tell!

  5. Nice composition with that arch. An amphitheatre sounds nice for the future.

  6. I'd say it's a pretty good guess that this facade will be going by-by in the not too distant future. And I'll be interesting in seeing what will take its place.

  7. I quite like that grand old wall. Funny but I used a wall with an arch in it yesterday. I love this one of yours. It will be fun to see what happens to it.

  9. Well, this is just one of many arches in this old warehouse, and I'm not sure what the final phase of the renovation includes. Just glad the whole building won't be lost.

  13. It sure looks like they are planning to demolish it. Too bad. It has interesting texture and could be good incorporated into the new plans . . . so long as vandals don't litter it with graffiti.

  16. It's intriguing right now in the state it's in. Just so your City saves some of its great -- and historically important -- structures I guess it will be OK with me if they renovate some of the rest of the area (as if I should have anything to say about the matter, LOL)!
