The End of Water Avenue

The Old Depot Museum anchors the east end of Water Avenue,
and through its front windows, you can see Selma Hardware on the corner.

  1. I really like the design of the ironwork as well as the reflection.

  5. Tsuki, it's called Water Avenue because the street parallels the riverbank. Thanks for visiting!

  6. Lovely -- and the ironwork gate is quintessential old South to me! We just loved seeing those when we were touring in your state.

Hope you are safe from the tornadoes I am hearing about as I type (even though we spent several days in Selma and time in other places in Alabama, my sense of geography and knowledge of place names isn't the greatest).
