The Fourth of July is celebrated with feasts as well as fireworks. Here's a portion of our festive holiday table yesterday. The feast included barbecue chicken, pork roast, pork ribs, squash, creamed corn, green beans, cantaloupe, hot peppers, coleslaw, potato salad, sliced tomatoes and homemade peach ice cream.
WHAT A FEAST! The chicken looks unbelievably good and delicious. You photographed an important part of the celebration!

ReplyDeletePS: I am sending this comment from the comfort of my sofa on my very own internet connection!!!
look wonderful, were there any leftovers?
ReplyDeleteAh yes, we are still enjoying leftovers!
ReplyDeleteTHAT looks delish! Especially the chicken... oh is that sweet tea?!
ReplyDeleteMadge, we make unsweet tea since most of our family likes it that way, but if that's my tea, it's sweet!
