Good hiking weather will soon be here, and if you've never hiked to the top of the hill at Grist State Park, here's where you begin by the picnic tables.
Camp Grist brings back a lot of fond memories. We used to go on many wonderful excursions when we were young. It still looks as pretty as it did so many years ago. Nice to know it is still a popular place to camp, hike, etc.
I like nice walks in the fall, right when the weather is starting to change.
ReplyDeleteJim is right; fall is a perfect time to hike and this looks like a perfect trail. Are you taking us on it?
ReplyDeleteSure Kate. Come on along!
ReplyDeleteI used to love to hike on animal trails in the forests of southern Ohio. Boy that was something.
ReplyDeleteI tell you, I am ready for some cooler weather. This has been a hot one.
ReplyDeleteRace you to the top! We took a nice hike in western Connecticut on Sunday.
ReplyDeletebfarr, I am ready for fall!
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't know, Jack. This is a steep hill, and I can barely huff and puff my way up it!
A cool hike in the woods, as summer begins to wane? Got to love it.
