Daylilies

What could be prettier on the first day of June than daylilies, brilliant orange, almost red daylilies? They really pop amid the green foliage and white picket fence.

Thanks to guest photographer Christine Weerts.

  1. They are lovely! My daylilies are not doing well this year for some reason.

  8. Ah-hah, so that's what these pretty little blossoms are called. I recently saw some on a trip to Cahaba and was planning to check out a book on Alabama flowers to see what it might be called!
