Two years ago, snow melted on this tree stump. Two weeks ago, we kept faucets dripping due to record cold. Today, we've got warm temps, heavy rain and tornado watches. I think January enjoys shocking our systems!
I love the lacy, doily-like quality of the melted snow. January has been surprising us up here, as well. Record highs all winter long, and nary a flake of snow in sight!

ReplyDeleteJacob, We don't have snow melting this year either, at least not so far! Who knows what Feb., March and April will bring though!
