Antique Ford Sedan

Back in 1937, a gallon of gas cost 10 cents, and a new car averaged less than $1,000.

That's the model year of this two-tone Ford Sedan that was among the antique cars on display at the Orrville Tractor Show last weekend.

  2. What a classic! The paint job is outstanding; it would work well in New Mexico where turquoise is a favorite shade of the Indians as well as the Anglos.

  3. I am guessing the color stripe is not original. It adds a nice touch though!

  4. 1937 was a good year! My very first car, which I bought from the proverbial little old lady who never drove it in 1955, was a 1937 Chevy.

Love the photo; love the car.

  5. Lovely colours. Those prices are now a long distant memory. Sadly :(

  7. I love the aqua and white combo, I hope the interior was as cherry as the exterior.
