July Theme Day (Empty)
It's Theme Day again, and for July, City Daily Photo Bloggers are posting photos of EMPTY.
So, I bring you an EMPTY skateboard park and EMPTY tennis courts at Memorial Stadium. Wouldn't it be nice to have the park or the courts all to yourself? EXCEPT, it is 11 a.m. on a scorching weekday! It's much to hot to skate OR play tennis right now. Better wait until late this afternoon.

That has to be hot. The skate park in Dallas is at least covered. I cant imagine being out there on the cement.
I was wondering why it was empty when it's supposed to be summer vacation there! If I skated or played tennis, I'd wait 'til late afternoon too.
I can understand why the place is empty. A concrete jungle is no place to be in the scorching hot summer!
Happy theme day!
That's funny you posted this picture because just last night my boys were all bugging me to take them to the skate park, lol
Oh, gosh, Janet! The only time that it seems bearable to be outside is in the early morning and late evening! I hope that kids do come out to skate there at least in the evening! - Another thing, I just wanted to say that y'alls Butterfly Project is a stroke of genius! It brings unity and a sense of walk-ability to the downtown area and historic district. I hope more things like it will be done to encourage tourism and economic growth.
Nice choice for today. I bet its busy at the weekend!
You have some very smart people in Selma. It's hot here, too, but a bunch of women are out on the city tennis courts throughout the day!
I am actually suprised the park is empty. Must be too hot for the kids too.
Definitely looking empty. nice choice for the monthly theme.

Jim, a covered skate park sounds nice!
Nikki, not much is bearable outdoors past 10 a.m. these days! Temps were back around 98 at my house yesterday, but at least the mornings are cooler. So glad you liked the butterflies! Some of going to permanent places now.
