Lantana Delight

Lantana is a popular summer bedding plant that butterflies and moths just love.

It's used in flower beds and hanging baskets and known for rapid growth and prolific blooms. Not only that, lantana is extremely hardy, both pest and drought proof. (I know. I've tried to get rid of some after it spread where it wasn't wanted!)

Thanks to Elaine Stewart for sending this bright summer photo!

Thats a nice picture. We had some Lantana, and it looked great, but it did take forever to get rid of it all, it kept growing back each year.

Well, I guess I'll skip Lantana as a garden bed! Your guest photo is lovely; I especially like the contrasting colours of green and yellow. Re. my blog today: Yes! I really do go shopping on my bike: library, grocery (only small amounts, not a huge list), coffee shop, hardware store, farmers market--I love the freedom!

I wouldn't mind some lantana in my beds, but for now I've got enough work with my roses and keeping the weeds under control!

That is a beautiful butterfly though!

I had not thought of Lantana for a long time. I love your photo today. What a beautiful reminder.

I am spiffing up my Coopers Hawks blog if you want to stop by and take a peek. LOL
