Not sure what they are, but I think I have some in my backyard too!
We have those here too and I don't know what they are. They seem to pop up randomly. I think they are beautiful though!

I wish they'd pop up and color my yard.
It's a tradescantia virginica, which carries the unhappy common moniker of spiderwort.I love them in a vase on my table with my Blue Willow plates

No idea, but they look nice and can cover up or hide bad spots.
