A ride through Old Live Oak Cemetery and other spots around Selma reveals a touch of spring color!
Azaleas are awakening amid their cloaks of Spanish Moss, and I notice dogwoods unfurling their buds.
Hurray for Spring!
And to think these shrubs were covered with snow just over a week ago!
Spring comes to all of us. We live north in Florida so we do get a "winter" - no snow, but it has been cold this year. Our azaleas and dogwoods are also blooming. It's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot my friend!
ReplyDeleteJust an idea.. when it gets a little warmer you and I should take a trip on the NEW river boat!!
Spring flowers are always a delight to see this time of year.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! The dogwoods are starting to bloom around here now too and pollen is covering my car!

ReplyDeleteOh you lucky people! I wish we had spring in Oslo, but not yet. Snowing today... :-(
ReplyDeleteLovely photo!
We have our azaleas as well. The fuschias don't really like being photographed, though. Tricky those ones.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely color against that traditional background. I also love your masthead. :)
ReplyDeleteWow - that is a great shot! It looks almost black and white, and it makes the red flowers pop!
