This "window dressing" is a reflection of the July sky and a building across Water Avenue from The Harmony Club. A Jewish social organization, The Harmony Club building was constructed in 1909. It housed a ballroom, restaurant and lounge and was the site of many parties and dances. Later, the building hosted the Elks Club but was vacant from 1960 until 1999 when David Hurlbut purchased it and began the current renovation as a private residence and retail spaces.

I love the way you have framed this. I enjoy looking out city windows and seeing what the architect put for us to enjoy on other buildings. There are great rewards in looking up.
Now for me the interesting element in your photo is the line 2/3 way up. I figure it is an electricity wire or something similar. It adds a totally different aspect to the image. It becomes much more immediate instead of just a fluffy cloud. Nicely added ...

Hi Julie. Yes, that's a power line...no way to shoot around it. It was in the reflection, and I wanted to include the top of the window.
