Looks a bit like Cullman, AL. I have been to AL many times in my life. Only as far as Bremen, Lineville, Anniston, Boaz, Arab, but mostly the Cullman area. The other places are where other family lives. My grandpa grew up in Brooklyn, AL between Baileyton and Fairview. I was down there in February for my gran-granny's funeral wish I could have gone back for the reunion this past weekend.

Hi Christy, I have been to Cullman, and it is pretty scenery around there. Selma is a lot more flat!

Virginia, you must not travel the interstate to get to the beach! We've found the shortest route isn't via interstate but the scenic one through Sardis, Pleasant Hill, Oak Hill, Tunnel Springs, Monroeville, Atmore and Bay Minette. We stop for lunch at the restaurant next to I-65 up on the hill. They have daily buffets. I'm not sure what the name of it is now. It's changed a few times, and I haven't been for a couple of years.
How big is Selma? It looks like a fun little downtown. Rather like the one we have in Walla Walla, Washington. (And yes, that's the town's real name.)
