Gorgeous shot!! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is an AWSOME post and photo!!! Loved it!!!!! In Portugal we call them «Bouganvilias». I have one, but because of daily climate changes (one day is winter, the next day is hot as in the desert, the other day is winter again, etc) it is drying a lot! I wish she survives!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so clear! Love the crisp colors! Happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteGosh that is some flower.
ReplyDeleteIt is early in the morning here in Brookville, Ohio and already a muggy 75 degrees with 92 expected.
Both pictures are nice. I cant seem to get those to grow.
ReplyDeleteLove this shot, too. As I said on the other shot, I may have to try to plant one here.
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous. I am not familiar with this flower, so thanks for teaching me!
ReplyDeleteVery fine composition!
ReplyDeleteTo fog or not to fog: that is the question.
Beautiful! Bougainvilla always reminds me of the Mediterranean Sea and the South of France. :)
ReplyDeleteit is supposed to be summer here although the weather isn't always agreeing
ReplyDeleteVery few plants do I enjoy more than a bouganvilla and your excellent photo takes me right back to my southern roots. Thanks for sharing, Rambling.
ReplyDeleteSimply perfect the green against the blue. Lovely image.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how quickly Selma has arrived at summer and we in Australia at winter. I'm looking out at red berried and fallen oak leaves and cloudy skies. Quite cool today too with some rain on its way (hooray).
ReplyDeleteI love bougainvilleas. Bougainville of course is in Papua New Guinea but has a very violent history in the last 20 odd years. We can grow bougainvilleas in Adelaide. They do well in our hot summers too.
Oh, so the name comes from Papua NG? Beautiful picture. We have the flower here in Israel too.
ReplyDeleteHappy almost-summer!
Now that's purddy, I don't care who you are. Just coming by for my visual treat from Dixie Land.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant photo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. Love the color.
