Going Somewhere

After a brief face-off with a labrador retriever in our neighborhood, this turtle wasted no time getting to where it was going.

    Never saw that color of shell. Very pretty. Is that your normal garden variety turtle down there?

    I was in the wrong place this week and saw one hit by a car and he struggled and struggled .I had to get out and move him to the grass to expire. I felt so badly and why don't people stop??

    Cute! We rarely see turtles here but in Missouri they were always crossing the road to go somewhere!

    Looks pretty large, nice shot. I have noticed a lot of turtles sticking their heads up out of the lake in our park.

    I gotta say, I love turtles. I'd have loved to have seen the face off with the lab. lol
