Florals and stripes complement each other at this downtown Selma intersection. The building with the striped awning is a jewelry store, while the flower bed is one of many along Broad Street.
Nice colors on the street, it makes it inviting and a place you would want to stop and walk around and shop, instead of driving through to get someplace else.
Hi Jubilo! Years ago, Selma had a Downtown revitalization project through the Main Street program. Businesses returned to original facades and period colors. This is one building that still reflects that, but now some buildings could use a new revitalization!
This looks like the Med. Could be Greek islands. Very summery and pretty.
ReplyDeleteNice look at your city street and the awning is fabulous. I really like the green color.

ReplyDeleteDear Selma Belle ,

I love those old-timey downtown buildings. And it's nice when the shops decorate the sidewalks with plants and flowers!
