Morning in Lafayette Park

It's early morning, but the sun is already bright in Lafayette Park.

At left is the Bridgetender's House where the operator
of the old swing bridge lived. The marker in the center explains its history.
That bridge was replaced in 1940 by the Edmund Pettus Bridge.

It looks like pleasant conditions, though I can imagine later in the day it gets hot.
