Spring on Dallas Avenue

Homes on Dallas Avenue are ablaze with the color of azaleas this weekend.
These are in the yard of the George Baker House where it is said that a Union soldier crawled under its staircase and died following the Battle of Selma in April 1865.

I beautiful flower snap! I guess you like flowers so I recommend you try an orchid! They will bloom for 2 - 4 months and actually they are much easier than they look. Sometimes you can even get them to re-bloom!

It looks wonderful in Selma these days. Nice shot. Love those live oak and azaleas.

Interesting house with an interesting history. Azaleas are blooming here, also. They really do brighten up an area. I'm looking forward to the Master's golf tournament in Augusta, GA - the azaleas are quite incredible.
